10. Formation of the National Development Council:

The National Development Council will be formed to discuss the short-term, long-term or periodic development plans formulated by the commission:-

(2) The following officials will be in the council:

(a) Prime Minister – Chairman
(b) Vice-Chairman of the Commission – Vice-Chairman
(c) All Departmental Ministers/State Ministers – Members
(d) The Leader of the Parliamentary Party represented in the Legislature-Parliament-Member
(e) Chairmen of Standing Committees of Legislature-Parliament-Member
(f) Members of the Commission – Member
(g) Governor, Nepal Rashtra Bank – Member
(h) Thirty-five members nominated by the commission from among the people who have contributed to the national life representing different sectors, classes and communities. (i) Secretary, National Planning Commission Secretariat – Member – Secretary
